Heslington Hall

University of York, Heslington, York, YO10 5DD

Thank you to Charles Patmore for letting me know about the following topiary garden which is now open to the public in the grounds of the University of York. The University is based at Heslington and is currently celebrating its fiftieth anniversary.

You can find the history the university here.

The garden was once the eighteenth century private garden of Heslington Hall but is now open to everyone at all times.

There is a link to the history of the garden below. It is a paper written by Charles himself for the Fishergate, Fulford & Heslington Local History Society.
